The SOURCE OF FUNDS or SOURCE OF WEALTH is the origin of the money that an individual or entity uses for a particular transaction or activity. In other words, it is the explanation for how the funds were obtained.


When you are requested to present a document to verify the origin of your funds*, you would need to submit ONE of the following documents: 


  • BANK STATEMENT AND/OR EQUITIES STATEMENT  

     

    We require the full document (all four corners) including all pages.

    Must be a photo of the physical document or a PDF file.

    Must contain your full name, and address.

    Must be dated within 90 days.

    Typically obtained from your bank or downloaded from your online banking app or website.


  • PAYSLIP OR PAYSTUB


We require the full document (all four corners) of the last two years' income.
Must be a photo of the physical document or a PDF file.
Typically obtained from the respective employer.


  • TAX RETURN (last 2 taxable years)


We require the full document (all four corners) of the last two taxable years. 

Must be a photo of the physical document or a PDF file.

Typically obtained from your jurisdiction's tax department.


  • OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE BANK OR ACCOUNTANT STATING ASSETS


We require the full document (all four corners) containing the official bank logo or seal.

The document must be signed by your bank or accountant.

Must be dated within 90 days.

Must be a photo of the physical document or a PDF file.

Typically obtained from your bank, or accountant or downloaded from your online banking app or website.


  • CRYPTO WALLET AND/OR TRADING ACCOUNT STATEMENTS


We require the full document (all four corners) including all pages.

Must be a photo of the physical document or a PDF file.

Must contain your full name, and address.

Gains for the last six months to one year should be provided (if applicable).


  • AN ACCOUNTANT'S LETTER STATING REAL ESTATE HOLDINGS AND/OR INHERITANCE SUFFICE FOR THE NET WORTH


We require the full document (all four corners) of the last two years' income.
Must be a photo of the physical document or a PDF file.
Typically obtained from the respective employer.



If you are SELF-EMPLOYED, you would need to submit the following set of documents:


  • Document(s) showing details of the business, and ownership of the company;
  • Articles of Incorporation,
  • Good standing Certificate, including shareholders together with one of the following documents:
  • Recent Company’s Financial Statement showing turnover; OR
  • Bank account statement with the company's name, showing amounts earned.
